With a commitment to Black artists and stories of the African diaspora, WACO Theater Center, Newark Symphony Hall and Yendor Theatre Company come together to reimagine the moving story of Black Terror for a contemporary audience. This bicoastal collaboration affords the opportunity to engage audiences and communities in an artistic medium and format that reaches a global audience–through film.

WACO Theater Center is a performing and visual arts organization that presents, commissions and develops artistic works dedicated to stories of the African diaspora. WACO provides artists and young people a platform and voice to showcase their creativity, in order to connect and inspire others.
First opened in 1925, Newark Symphony Hall has been the home of almost a century of arts and culture in what is now New Jersey’s oldest and largest arts and entertainment venue.
